National Apprenticeship Week 2019 will be blazing a trail from 4th - 8th March and allows us to shout about the fantastic opportunities that an apprenticeship brings to employers, our apprentices and the economy across Staffordshire.

The ‘Blaze a Trail’ theme will feature throughout the week to highlight the benefits of apprenticeships.
During the week we’ve got lots of events taking place and great stories to tell. We want everyone to recognise the change that apprenticeships can bring - for employers blazing a trail to new markets and apprentices to new career opportunities.

#BlazeATrail is at the heart of what apprenticeships are all about.

What's happening...

Look out for apprentices Ben Webb-Rushton and Naila Bibi as part of our apprentice takeover on social media during the week. Keep an eye out on Twitter on Wednesday for #AskAnApprentice and blogs and case studies throughout the week.

On Monday we'll be at Hanley Job Centre and in Newcastle and Longton during the afternoon talking to people looking for apprenticeships and job opportunities.

Our Open Evening on Wednesday 6th March from 4pm-7pm is a great opportunity to come and see the benefits of apprenticeships and our pre-apprenticeship programmes.

On Thursday we'll be welcoming employers to learn more about the apprenticeship levy, upskilling staff and how to recruit apprentices.

We’ll be blazing a trail within schools during the week as well, attending events and open days at Biddulph High School, Clayton Hall, Blackfriars Academy, Chesterton Community Sports College, Kings Hall, Trentham Academy and Fenton Manor.

We can’t wait to meet future budding apprentices.

On Friday, we’ve got a special #ApprenticeCarousel where learners from across our training centres will have the opportunity to ask questions face to face with current apprentices. Find out more on Facebook and Twitter on the day.
