ENTRY REQUIREMENTS 

As part of this apprenticeship, you will need to work towards Level 2 functional skills in Maths and English and have achieved a minimum of Level 1.

12 - 15 months duration including learning and end point assessment.

FUNDING

Maximum of £6,000 if you are a Levy payer. Maximum of £300 if you are a non-Levy company

WHO IS THIS FOR?

This apprenticeship standard is for new entrants or those wanting to progress their career in the trade environment.  Wishing to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviors when operating in a small warehouse and trade counter, which is visited regularly by professional trade customers who have technical knowledge about what they are buying.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of planned learning sessions, workplace visits, on and off the job training and 1 to 1 support. 

It covers areas such as:

  • Customer profile
  • Trade counter and telesales services
  • Warehousing and stock control
  • Use of technology
  • Health, safety and security
  • Personal responsibilities and performance
  • Working within a team

PROGRESSION & END POINT ASSESSMENT 

End Point Assessment

This apprenticeship includes an end point assessment consisting of:

  • Online knowledge test
  • Practical observation
  • Professional discussion

Progression Opportunities

You could progress on to the Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship Standard Level 3.
