Based in Fenton, Caring For Care are one of the largest specialist healthcare and clinical training providers in the UK.

Working with some of the top care providers in the UK, Caring For Care train in excess of 10,000 nurses, care managers and health care assistants each year.

In the office there is a team of 6 including the director. The business has grown year on year, survived lockdown, and has a growth plan to develop their social media through this exciting role.


Caring For Care are recruiting a Social Media Apprentice reporting directly to the company director.

Caring For Care are seeking an individual who understands deadlines, time management and who is familiar with social media and wants to learn the part it plays in business.


We need an individual who is familiar with social media and wants to learn the part it plays in business. With support and supervision your key responsibilities will be:

  • Design and implement digital marketing campaigns
  • Blogging/Vlogging/Social Media
  • Copywriting
  • Analysis and reports of engagement/click throughs
  • Assist with developing the marketing strategy in line with business objectives
  • Increasing market reach and presence
  • Drivers Licence – Local travel will be essential for some parts of the market research talking to our customers face to face (covid restrictions adhered to). Driving would be an advantage but not essential
  • Consistently drive the growth of our key channels: for example, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest
  • Assist in managing the social media content strategy, ensuring we are in line with key customer moments and reactive ‘live’ moments
  • Assist in managing the mix of content across channels to hit key content pillars and drive maximum engagement
  • respond to engagements and messages on social platforms
  • support with optimising the platforms to make the customer experience better
  • Support the business with creative ideas that show our voice and tone to our customers and contribute to team meetings
  • Carry out social audits and updating calendars and ensuring events are up to date
  • Using scheduling platforms to batch task and taking responsibility of the teams direction and use of social media
  • We are a small company and a friendly team where we all get stuck in and support each other so answering the phone, making brews and emptying the bins are all vital parts of the running of the business which it is expected you will be involved in


IT Skills are essential. Caring For Care are currently using Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, email, google my business and google ads.  As part of this role, Facebook and Instagram ads to be considered with YouTube, ticktock and pinterest planned for next year.

Driving would be an advantage but not essential.

Qualifications Required:

GCSE’s (9-4) A-C in Maths and English preferred with a good attitude to learn new skills through training.
