Matthews & Son bespoke manufacture many different products including Handrails, trucks and trollies, walkways, platforms and many more items. 

Their customers include

And many others. Their apprentices have many opportunities to work on-site as part of their fitting teams. One day they be working at the Bet 365 stadium the next day Royal Albert dock it's a very varied body of work.

Main purpose of this role:

As an apprentice, you will be carrying out general fabrication and welding within the workshop and will spend time onsite carrying out the installation of work too with the fitting team.

You will also be abiding by the HASAWA at all times, be a good team player.

Over the duration of the apprenticeship, you will learn everything there is about fabrication and welding within the Engineering sector.
