ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIP

This is an amazing opportunity working with the largest manufacturer of aftermarket emissions equipment in the UK!

As a Maintenance Apprentice your job is to fix things and get your hands dirty! If you love the idea of getting stuck into equipment this is the perfect job! Your main role and responsibilities will include:
  • Maintenance of machinery onsite
  • Installation of equipment
  • Working on various engineering discipline – fabrication, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics
  • Repairing equipment & machines
  • Tooling design & maintenance / repairs
  • Support of TPM system and predictive maintenance
  • Using handheld tooling
  • Working at height
  • Welding & fabrication
  • Fault finding
  • Ordering spares & equipmen
  • Housekeeping
  • Projects
  • Continuous improvement
Additional duties may include some engineering dept support, and working with other depts.



 

REQUIREMENTS 

Skills Required:

  • Working knowledge of engineering and fabrication
  • Understand how to deliver excellent customer service
  • Organisation Skills (Able to manage time effectively and prioritise workload accordingly)
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions
  • Ability to multi-tasks
  • IT skills desirable
  • Experience of production of maintenance & fabrication is desirable
