Innovative Testing Solutions or ITS for short, is a privately owned, independent UK business founded by a team of passionate and highly knowledgeable professionals with over 30 years combined industry experience. ITS are drug and alcohol testing experts. 

This role provides a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking a diverse career within a small business. This role is open to applicants of any age. As an Apprentice, you will undertake a range of on and off the job training activities as part of a structured training programme. The duties and responsibilities listed below indicate the range of tasks associated with the role of the Apprenticeship Programmes.

The nature and complexity of the duties and responsibilities will vary according to the units being studied as part of your qualification, your aptitude and progress and the time of year in relation to departmental activities.

 

ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIP

To develop and enhance the on-line presence of the business via social media platforms, eBay and Amazon stores. To work as part of a team and provide support to the team, acting as a first point of contact for customers with standard order queries. To provide an effective and efficient reception and telephone service to ensure customers receive a professional service.

Your main duties will include:

  • Plan and create product images and video content for on-line platforms
  • Develop and post regular social media updates
  • Assist with customer enquiries and orders
  • Set up customers on CRM/WMS
  • Update CRM/WMS system as appropriate in relation to activities undertaken
  • Process customer orders and coordinate the picking and packing of orders
  • Undertake administration to support accurate and timely dispatch of goods or services
  • Undertake other general duties, including but not limited to;
    • Preparing sales orders
    • Maintaining sales order records
    • Processing of incoming and outgoing email/mail
    • Assisting with the preparation of reports and statistical data

Undertake other such duties of a similar nature which fall within the scope of the role and which may be required from time to time.

Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00

Driving license is preferred but not essential. The location is not on a direct bus route.

This role will allow you to progress within a customer service/business administration career but will provide you with the stepping stones you need to succeed in an office role!
