CoRE Educational Ltd is an IT Support & Services provider looking after Schools and Small Businesses in the Staffordshire area.

The company also provides IT Hardware & Software to customers nationally along with remote support for businesses up & down the country.


The company require a proactive individual to become a Digital Marketing Apprentice who will be involved in helping to manage several social media accounts, generating engaging content and assisting with marketing campaigns, marketing support and other exciting projects!

Working hours are 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday, with 15 minute morning break and 30 minute lunch.



As a Social Media & PR Apprentice, your main role and responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing social media strategy
  • Creating engaging text, image and video content
  • Engaging with social media followers via online platforms
  • Driving initiatives to grow audience and increase brand awareness
  • Staying up to date with changes in all social platforms, ensuring maximum effectiveness
  • Collaborating with the marketing team, client development team and development team
  • Using social media marketing tools such as Later or Buffer
  • Developing an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • Monitoring social media KPIs to optimise strategy
  • Researching, writing and distributing blogs, news releases and content to generate publicity.

Additional duties may include some IT support/advice for the customers of CoRE Educational Ltd


Skills Required:

  • Must have working knowledge of all major Social Media platforms, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn & Instagram
  • Understand how to deliver excellent customer service
  • Organisation Skills (Able to manage time effectively and prioritise workload accordingly)
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions
  • Ability to multi tasks
  • IT skills desirable but not essential
