Horton Building Plastics is a specialist retailer established in Staffordshire in 2017. Open to the Trade and Public and specialising in UPVC windows, Doors and Building Plastics which include Rainwater Plastics, Fascia, Soffit and the associated fixings.


8.00am - 5.00pm

Monday to Friday 

  • Processing invoices on a timely and accurate basis using Sage 50 Accounts.
  • Dealing with customer billing enquiries in a sensitive, but efficient manner.
  • Ensuring that all receipts are banked promptly and allocated on a timely and accurate basis.
  • Setting up new customers, processing queries and other account variations on the billing system.
  • Using online portals where required to generate invoices.
  • Processing of refunds and adjustments.
  • Liaise with other colleagues to ensure abnormalities are investigated and queries are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Investigation of credit balances.
  • Processing receipts from customers to the bank accounts and allocating in a timely manner.
  • Keeping customer account files up to date (digital and paper based)


The ideal candidate must:

  • Be confident, outgoing and with a passion for retail
  • Great telephone skills 
  • Passionate and friendly
  • Good communication skills are important with a good standard of numeracy and literacy
  • Have a genuine interest in the industry and people.



An administration role can lead to other progression roles such as sales, marketing and finance. This role is a great start for someone who wants to progress their career in accounting.
