Keeping our learners and apprentices safe.
PM Training are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our learners and apprentices.
All our staff members are trained in identifying issues such as:
Upskirting, homelessness, domestic abuse, honour-based violence, PREVENT radicalisation, children missing from education, neglect, peer on peer abuse, serious violence, female genital mutilation (FGM), child exploitation, children with family in prison.
If we believe there to be an issue regarding safeguarding, we will act on this immediately.
This may be through means of documentation, record keeping and close review. In serious cases we may contact social services and/or the local authorities if we believe the child to be at risk of harm.
Visitors to any of our premises will have to sign in at reception and wear a lanyard provided as a form of identification. Members of staff also have lanyards which also identify their names and job roles.
Our Open Events are a great opportunity for you to explore our headquarters, check out our latest apprenticeship vacancies and speak with real apprentices. Start your apprenticeship journey with us!
