As parents, we want the best for our children including the best opportunities for them to progress and succeed in their education and career. Our parents guide to apprenticeships will be able to de-bunk any apprenticeship myths and highlight some of the great reasons why your child could benefit from joining us on their apprenticeship journey.
Safeguarding is hugely important to us all here at PM Training.
All staff undergo “Safeguarding Children” training and refresher training at a minimum of every 3 years. Designated persons attend relevant training every 2 years.
You can feel confident that careful procedures are in place to ensure that all staff appointed are suitable to work with young people through the necessary reference and recruitment procedures, e.g. Disclosure and Barring Service (previously CRB checks).
We incorporate a range of strategies and training into our organisation for staff members and awareness for learners. This helps us to dismiss any form of bullying, prevent radicalisation in our communities and teach learners the importance of British Values.
Our Personal and Social Development sessions also help us to highlight to our learners the importance of mental health and respecting all cultures, ethnicities and religions.
Learners may be eligible to for additional finances that can support them whilst they study and carry out an apprenticeship.
Realise charity, the group regeneration charity, provides bursary awards to support lifelong learning including free toolkits, business clothing and driving lessons.
