Energising Environments
Artworks is the urban art and streetscape service from PM Training.
Combining artistry, dexterity, and contemporary fabrication techniques, Artworks produces pieces of the highest calibre which grab attention, energise public spaces and transform the places where we live, work and play.
In doing so, we give them a strong sense of identity. The opportunities are endless and range from:
Public art
Every commission created by a PM Training apprentice is unique, locally produced - and of the very highest quality with broad public appeal.
Our community based projects in particular engender a strong sense of ownership among local residents and can entail direct collaboration with them in the development process.
The product portfolio includes, but is not limited to:
- Board room/reception art
- Decorative works
- Monuments
- Mosaics
- Murals
- Sculptures (metal and wooden)
Our work adds flourishes of interest, character and beauty to any setting, indoors or outdoors.
We welcome one-off commissions and requests to handle just the design, but we always guarantee a sensitive, intelligent and creative response to your brief.
Streetscape works
Our improvements help communities thrive by enhancing the character of a place – urban or rural.
We can enhance open spaces, improve streets and roadsides, make neighbourhoods more welcoming, and create a sense of community pride.
Examples include:
- Bird tables and boxes
- Car park barriers
- Cycle racks
- Door numbers
- Garden furniture
- Gates
- Hanging baskets
- House names
- Planters
- Railings
- Shelters
- Signage
- Street furniture
- Weather vanes
With almost 20 years’ experience in enhancing public space, we consistently deliver.
We help make homes, businesses and communities, more vibrant and appealing places to live and work. Where appropriate, our work can make explicit visual reference to the social history of an area.
