Apprentices offered driving lessons support Dec 15, 2011
Category: News
Driving lessons can be very expensive, especially for young people, making it harder for them to find employment without a licence. PM Training recognises this hurdle and is now able to match fund lessons for apprentices who apply, via the Realise Foundation.
Learners need to be at least 17 years of age and buy a minimum of 5 driving lessons if they want to be match funded.
They can apply for a grant if they are an apprentice that has successfully completed a work trial with an employer and is now on a placement where the apprenticeship framework is being delivered by PM Training.
Funding awards will not exceed £100 for each application and are subject to availability of funds through the Realise Foundation.
If approved, the match funding will be paid directly to the driving school.
