About us

PM Training is a leading social enterprise operating in the private and public sectors.  We aim to deliver excellent training and employment services but we are not just a training provider – our vision is to create enterprising futures for all the people, companies and communities we work with.

We have four training centres across Staffordshire, in Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stafford and Leek.

PM Training is part of Enterprising Futures, the social enterprise arm of the Aspire Group.  Because we are a social enterprise our services concentrate on maximising our social, economic and environmental impact.  Our operating surpluses are re-invested through our charity, the Realise Foundation, to provide more training and employment opportunities for local people and to regenerate local neighbourhoods.

At our four well-equipped training facilities we have a 100+ strong team of qualified assessors/ verifiers, team leaders and trainers who are experts in service delivery.

We work with companies to increase their productivity and staff retention both by providing direct training and by supplying high calibre trainees and apprentices.

We support individuals to increase their knowledge and skills and successfully support the majority to find full time employment or further training in a wide variety of careers.

We help communities by improving individual homes, neighbourhoods and estates through our direct Homeworks services.  These annually benefit over 4,000 people living in North Staffordshire.

Our aim is to continuously improve our service to learners, employers and communities.

We strive to ensure that:

  • the economically excluded are given the best opportunities to improve their life chances and achieve their true potential;
  • companies can improve their profitability and root their activities in a supply of well trained local labour;
  • public service authorities can capture local talent and commitment for civic and neighbourhood benefit;
  • skills, enterprise and employment levels are enhanced - creating more prosperous communities;
  • local people can take pride in their neighbourhoods;
  • our knowledge is diverse, skilled, knowledgeable and competitive.
